Monthly weekend outings - such as camping, hiking, aquatic, or biking
Summer Camp - week long camp, generally late July or August
Service Projects - several events per year benefiting our community
(including Eagle Scout projects)
Junior Leadership Training - Life and Star Scouts
Flag Ceremonies - requests from local organizations and Scout events
Lucky Baldwin District - Camporee and Scout Expo
Troop 141 runs an open program where parents and families are welcome to attend all meetings and outings. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in the Troop committee, which oversees the program, manages finances and provides logistical support.
Troop 141 is chartered by the Parents of Troop 141, a registered non-profit organization.
Covers campground fees and Troop equipment (tents, stoves, etc.)
Approximate cost for food each outing.
Scouts are also required to purchase their own personal camping equipment (backpack, sleeping bag, boots, etc.), a Class A scout uniform, a Class B t-shirt, and a Boy Scout Handbook.
To offset expenses throughout the year, we ask that all families participate in official Council Fundraisers (Popcorn and Scout Expo) as well as Troop 141 fundraising activities (candy sales, mistletoe, restaurant promos, etc...)
